Jeg tenkte det snart var på tide med en ny layout her på siden. Og siden jeg hadde så vanskelig med å velge hvem jeg ville ha på layouten denne gangen, tenkte jeg dere kunne velge. Velg den dere vil ha i "pollen" under og trykk vote.

Pop act McFly have revealed why they have left their record label.

Tom Fletcher has said: "At the beginning of the year we left Island and we set up our own record label called Super Records, which basically allows us to have complete control of our music."

Fletcher said: "We now have everything to do creatively with McFly which is very important to us. We now employ our own Super Records team.

He added: "There is no middle man and whatever we do, it comes straight from us and that is what it is really all about."

The lead singer and guitarist said that since setting up their own record label they have been able to do things "like give away their new album - Radio:ACTIVE for free with the Mail on Sunday."

This giveaway allowed the band access to 5.8 million readers. McFly followed in the steps of Prince, who also gave away copies of his album.

A deluxe version of Radio:ACTIVE will also be available in stores in September.
